This pattern was designed in honour of the incredible, resilient children in our lives to celebrate how amazing they are. Let’s celebrate our little ones and spread joy. Crown them!


US TERMINOLOGY USED THROUGHOUT.

Gauge: 6 stitches, 10 rows to 10 cm/4”.

Level: Intermediate

Measurements:

The size can be adapted to fit any head. Full instructions are included in the pattern booklet.

Small kid (3-5 years): approx 20”/51cm.
Big Kid (6-10 years): approx 21”/53cm.

Yarn: One ball each of Hobbii Bungee in Crema (04) (Colour two), Mint (10) (Colour one), Light Pink (14) (Colour three) or any jumbo yarn that works to a gauge of 6 stitches, 10 rows to 10 cm/4”. You will also need a small amount (less than 20g) of mustard-coloured DK yarn. I used Hobbii Amigo in Curry (Colour four).

Tools: 8mm crochet hook, scissors, yarn needle, stitch marker (optional).

Skills: Chain stitch (ch st). slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), triple crochet (trc), double crochet five stitches together (dc5tog), weaving in ends.
