“You know what would rock? A SPOCK TOUQUE! Like, it would be black, and cut right across your forehead (like his bangs) and his skintone ears would be the part that covers YOUR ears!” --Trip

And from that simple request was born “Live Long and Keep Warm”-- a hat to transform you (or a friend!) into a perfectly logical being. One size fits most adults, the hat is fairly stretchy and designed to hug the head like a wig.

Tips:
For the ears, knit 6 rows plain between the increases and decreases, instead of 4, to create a more elongated ear, tends to look better on larger heads.

Also, you can do both sides of an ear at the same time by just casting on 10 st and placing a marker in the middle to denote the two different panels. Then you only need to seam up one side of the ear later!
