Living Stones
The pattern for this cowl was inspired by the mosses and lichen that grow on the stones around us. They are fantastic creations, they thrive on what seems barren and bring life to the stones. They might look insignificant from afar, but their shapes and colours are of stunning beauty when viewed up close. They are delicate creations, and are very sensitive to air pollution, which means that having them around is a sign that you’re breathing clean air. They should be cherished for their remarkable combination of delicacy, resilience and beauty.
This cowl is worked in the flat for the bottom and top edges and in the round for the body. It features a slip rib edge.
