This pattern is available for free.

This pattern is an adaptation of a newborn dress, made into a ladies’ a-line sweater. The top is constructed from the top down, initially in rows and then in rounds beginning at the armhole row. Stitches used in this pattern include slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet and (optional) crab stitch. Other stitches could be used to personalize the pattern.

This pattern can be adjusted to fit as it is crocheted from the top down. Any worsted weight yarn may be used, as well as other weights if you are comfortable making adjustments as you go.
