This pattern is suitable for those with beginner crochet skills and have knowledge of magic ring/circle, crocheting in spirals, chain, single crochet, double crochet, single crochet increase and invisible decrease, basic sewing and embroidery techniques.
In order to save the brooch size of toy please use hook of a small size (0,6-1mm)

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:

1. Crochet hook and yarn. The larger lizard is crocheted from cotton yarn with 1.15 mm crochet hook the smaller one is crocheted from cotton yarn with 0.75 mm crochet hook. Choose the color of the yarn to your taste. Choose the thickness of the yarn to match the size of the crochet so that your crochet is tight.
2. Toy stuffing (fiber filler).
3. Wire for the frame and tools for working with wire. You may use 0.8 mm galvanized steel wire. For a smaller lizard, or if you want to make each finger, you will need a bead wire (0.3mm). If you plan on making separate fingers, you will need another thinner thread of the same color as the main thread (you may be able to split your main thread into fibers).
4. A needle for assembling with an eye size that can be used to thread the crocheting thread.
5. Reliable polyurethane based glue or similar. Optional - second liquid super glue (desirable).
6. Two small beads, a needle and a thread (or fishing line) to sew them on. I use the beads for eyes. You can use pre-made eyes in a suitable size.
7. Materials for tinting (pastel, colored pencils, acrylic paints), brushes for work.
8. Sew-on clasp for a brooch.
9. Acrylic varnish is not necessary, but you can additionally impregnate the coils of yarn on the paws with it for greater fixation.
