For those who like their amigurumi a little on the dark side, here’s a pattern for a Lizzie Borden ami who walks softly and carries a big ax. When finished, she stands about 10 1/2” tall and looks great anywhere you put her.

Stitches are straightforward and include sc, HDC, DC, and TC. All decreases are single crochet decreases.

NOTE: This is a new and improved version of the original pattern that I first published in January of 2013. The shaping of the dress has been simplified, and the result is even more elegant!
