For this pattern, I collaborated with my knitting BFF, Courtney Flynn of flynnknit. We were both so excited to use these fabulous worsted and bulky rainbow yarns from Betsy’s Fibers. We just knew we had to come up with a simple, beginner level pattern that will show off all of the amazing colors Betsy has added to these skeins. Betsy, like Courtney and I, are local makers in Northern Illinois. Betsy donates a percentage of every yarn sale to Equestrian Connection where she volunteers as an instructor. Equestrian Connection is an amazing, local therapeutic horseback riding center that provides equine-based therapy programs for children and adults with special needs. We are so touched by Betsy’s generosity, that we will be donating 50% of every pattern sale to Equestrian Connection as well.

About the pattern:
This pattern is available in three yarn weights: worsted, bulky, and super bulky. This hat uses all twisted rib stitches and is worked from the bottom up. This hat has a snug fit with a lot of stretch! We have included notes on modifying the size if you wish to change the circumference or the height.

Using US 6(10)13/4.0(6.0)9.0mm needles:
34(19)12.5 sts and 27(18)12 rows make a 4” (10cm) square in twisted rib (k1 tbl, p1), unblocked
