Where you insert the hook for the beginning and ending rows is slightly tricky, but outside of that, if you can chain, single crochet, and double crochet, the pattern should not be difficult.

Special Gauge Note: I have not established a gauge for this pattern because your size will need to be adjusted based on the size of your coffee cup. Instead, after chaining, test the length of the chain around the coffee cup you are using. It should just meet when stretched. The chain needs to be snug, otherwise the cozy will slide up the coffee cup when you are finished. If the chain isn’t long enough, simply add an even number of chains to reach the desire length. If it’s too loose, reduce an even number of chains as needed.
