Lizzy's Pumpkin Earrings
Difficulty: Beginning/Intermediate
What makes this difficult is that you are using a very small hook, but outside of the that, this is a very quick, easy project. Leave a comment if you have any trouble!

I used Premier Yarns Cotton Fair yarn in orange for the pumpkins because I had it lying around, but I expect it would work just as well with orange embroidery thread. It just might come out a little smaller.
A gauge is not necessary for this pattern. If you crochet too tightly, you might have trouble getting the hook into the stitches. If you crochet too loosely, you will probably end up with some gaps in your pumpkin. These could be made larger by using a heavier weight yarn and a slightly larger hook.
Abbreviations:
sc: Single crochet
ss: slip stitch
