This pattern is my first attempt at writing up a pattern, so please be kind. This is a double knit hat with ear flaps. Because it is a double knit, it will be fewer stitches per inch than normal for a specific yarn/needle set.

One thing I have found, is do not be afraid of the double knit, just remember that it’s ok if you make mistakes when counting to two :)
