Yarn used for this hat:
Lion Brand Homespun “Thick & Quick”.

Circular needles US 15 (10mm)
and either circular needles or dpn’s (for the ears) US 10 (6mm)

In addition to the yarn, you will need:
A piece of 2mm thick felt in the color dark brown or black.
Approximately 4” x 4” to make 2 inner ears.

This hat is knit in the round and uses the following abbreviations:
R = row
K = knit
P = purl
CO = cast on
BO= bind off
RS = right side
WS = wrong side
SSK = slip, slip, knit
PM = place marker
St st = stockinette stitch
