Llandudno Promenade Shawl
First designed in 2020, this pattern has been completely rewritten with new yarn and needle size and re-released in March 2023. Tech edited by Deb Bramham.
Inspired by the changing shades of the sea, and the ironwork on Llandudno Pier, this shawl is an easy, yet satisfying, knit. The asymmetrical garter stitch triangle is broken up with lace panels that highlight the colour changes. The pattern has both charted and fully written options.

Notes
- Mini skeins are labelled in shade order from CC1 (darkest) to CC5 (lightest).
- It can be very helpful, especially near the beginning, to place a locking stitch marker on the increase edge to remind you which side you are increasing on.
- Row numbers within sections always start again from Row 1.
- Any reference to working rows “As for Rows…” refers to rows within that section, not a previous one.
