Lóa - Unisex Sweater

Lóa is a beautiful sweater and fun to knit. The pattern is written in two ways; to knit the sweater the old Icelandic wool sweater style (bottom up) and to knit the sweater top down.

US 7 (4.5 mm) and US 8 (5 mm), 40 and 80 cm circular needles

Gauge
4 x 4 in (10 x 10 cm) = 18 sts and 24 rounds in stockinette stitch on needles US 8 (5 mm).
It is important to have the right gauge to determine the given size. Adjust needle size to match gauge.

Directions
The sweater is knitted in the round with stockinette stitch and stranded knitting on the yoke and at the bottom of the body and sleeves. The ribbings at the bottom of the body, sleeves and the collar are knitted; k 1 st, p 1 st, repeat.

Lóa er gullfalleg ullarpeysa sem gleður augað og gaman er að prjóna. Aðferðir
Peysan er prjónuð í hring, með sléttu prjóni og tvíbanda prjóni.
Bolur og ermar eru að mestu einlit, fyrir utan tvíbanda munsturbekk fyrir ofan brugðningu neðst á bol og ermum. Einnig er berustykkið prjónað með tvíbanda munsturbekk.
Brugðning neðan á bol og ermum ásamt hálslíningu er prjónuð; 1 L sl, 1 L br til skiptis.
