The Lobelia nesting basket is a practical project with a beautiful handmade look to add to your home decor.
The basket is worked in the round with 2 strands held together.
You can find a note in the pattern with instructions on how to change the basket’s size.
The basket’s body has a beautiful and unique texture thanks to a combination of stitches.
Stitches used in this pattern: chain, single crochet, spike single crochet.

- Skill Level - intermediate.
- The pattern is written using English (U.S) terminology.
- Hooks size needed: 5.0 mm / H & 6.0 mm / J
- The basket is crocheted Worsted (#4) weight yarn - I used Knit Picks - Comfy Worsted.
- Total amount of yarn needed - 170gr/295m/323yds . The pattern is worked with 2 strands held together
Finished size: 7.5” (19cm) diameter base, 4” (10cm) height
