This lovely beaded stole, with slightly flared ends, can be worked with just one skein of light fingering weight sock yarn.

Lobelia cardinalis is a common California native plant, with pretty red flowers.

Pattern Notes

Work first half from the edging to the center, set aside, then work the second half. Do note that the ‘halves’ will not be precisely the same length due to the need to stagger the repeat.

As shown, this pattern uses nearly the entire skein of yarn. I recommend weighing your skein before you begin and when you are close to halfway. You can alter the number of repeats for Chart C if needed.

Changes to gauge or different yarn properties will affect total amount required.
