Maritime Family Fiber has teamed up with Shirley Anne Scott (Shirl the Purl), beloved for her traditional mitten designs, to bring you this pair of lobster mitts. Display your love of crustaceans with style!

This super warm pattern is made using traditional fairisle techniques used by knitters in countries bordering the North Atlantic for centuries. It is knit in the round using double pointed needles but may easily be adapted to either the Magic Loop or the Two Short Circulars method of working small circumferences in the round. The lobster graphic was first charted from a cannery label more than 30 years ago. Its time has come.
