On the shores of Loch Fyne, lives an old friend of mine. I designed this scarf for her.

It is striking and slightly unusual in it’s ‘inside out’ look. With a second contrasting colour at one end and different coloured fringes, it’s slightly whimsical but still an easy knit to pick up and work on when you want something undemanding.

The scarf is knit in the round using magic loop (there is a link to a tutorial in the pattern) then closed with a fringe at either end.

I used Sublime Extra Fine Merino DK and DMC Woolly but you can use any yarn and make it any length you like, as long as you leave enough for the fringes! (Obviously, using different types of yarn could mean it turns out a different size - but with scarves, that is not a big deal.)

Note: Clarification on which way round you knit your scarf added to pattern 2nd July 2017
