Carol Meldrum has created three tartan-style patterns in clashing colour palettes for her neat scarf design. The front of the scarf is worked using the intarsia method following the three colourwork charts, then enhanced with vertical and horizontal chains crocheted on to the fabric. The back panel is knitted in stocking stitch in a single colour, and the two panels are then joined using mattress stitch.
