Lockdown Cardigan
This is the coziest and easiest cardigan you will ever make, in fact it’s more like a blanket than a cardigan.
The Lockdown Cardigan is the perfect pattern for a beginner knitter who wants to make something more ambitious than a scarf. It utilizes budget-friendly yarn and the entire garment is made up of only knit and purl stitches.
Part of the Pandemic Pattern Bundle: A series of beginner-friendly patterns designed to help people find a new hobby while they stay at home.
You will need:
- Six balls of Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice or Lion Brand Wool Ease (I used Vanna’s Choice in Oatmeal)
- One 8mm (size 5) circular needle
- One tapestry needle
CORRECTIONS Original pattern said to knit in stockinette for 20” it should be 40”
This has been updated
The k1p1 rib pattern is wrong. It should read:
Row 1: k1p1 until end of row
Repeat Row 1 for 2 inches
