I made this as a birthday gift for a friend who loves the Locked Tomb series. To keep the bookmark at manageable size, I used a generic skull image instead of a particular house’s symbol. The friend I made it for is a particular fan of the Ninth and Sixth houses, so that’s why their numbers are on here, but if you’d like to adapt it to another house, feel free to message me and I can give you a sense of how to adapt the colorwork chart :)

This pattern is worked using double knitting. This video gives excellent advice if you’re a beginner to double knitting.

I worked this pattern in black and white fingering weight yarn on US 4 needles, which made for a very reasonably sized bookmark. If you’d like a bigger bookmark, I would use a heavier yarn. Enjoy!
