Hi,

It is not that there is not a Log Cabin Blanket Pattern out there. I always knit with a certain edge stitch and I do not think mine is so very special because my opinion is that a lot of people use this one. On the Log Cabin Patterns I looked at they do not do edge stitches and I did not like the look of it when I picked up the stitches of just garter stitch. So I ended up doing my edge stitches and the back looked almost as beautiful as the front. I also added an I-cord to finish my blanket because it just looks so very nice.

You can play with this pattern of the blanket as much as you like. I mean you totally change the looks of the blanket by doing a whole square in one color or every strip in another color.

So here is my version of the Log Cabin Blanket and I hope you will enjoy it.
