Log Cabin Blanket
I love the log cabin blankets! I’m really a big fan
While we moved I discovered an unfinished Log Cabin Blanket I started years ago (knitted version) and I started to love it all over again. However as I continued working on it I thought it went so slow… so I decided to change the pattern a bit and write down a crochet version. I’m happy to share it with you.
I wanted to make a Baby Play Blanket, but you can also make a small blanket, lap blanket, king size blanket, whichever you prefer, the pattern is easy adjustable, so the options are endless.
Technique: colorful stripes are added one by one; if you work over the tail ends, this blanket contains nearly no seaming
Gauge: isn’t important in this project, just continue till you feel it is big enough
Size: as small or big as you want
Material you can use scrap yarn, but remember to use yarn of the same weight
Hook size : I used 5 mm/US H but you can use whichever size you prefer
Yarn: every yarn is possible
Difficulty: Very easy blanket, suitable for beginners
