Log Cabin
There are three different color versions of this pattern. All specify a 6.5 mm hook (which they call a J hook) and worsted weight yarn, and you make squares 9.5” x 9.5” (24 cm x 24 cm), assembling the squares in different directions to make different color patterns. All yarn specifications were for ounces; yardage was not given. Yardage estimates below--and the total above--are based on an average of 50-100 yards per ounce for worsted weight yarn.
Version A:
- 10 ounces (284 grams) 500-1000 yards each Light Blue and Dark Blue
- 8 ounces (227.2 grams) 400-800 yards each Light Coral and Dark Coral
- 5 ounces (142 grams) 250-500 yards each Light Green and Dark Green
- 3.5 ounces (99.4 grams) 175-350 yards Medium Yellow.
