Logan Bear
Warning – I am a tight crocheter
Skills needed: Double crochet-dc, Triple crochet-tr, Double crochet 2 stitches together-dc2tog, magic ring
Measurements: Bear - 24 inches tall (while sitting) x 50 inches around. Scarf 36 inches long and 6 inches wide
Materials: 3 skeins of super chunky yarn 100 yards each for the bear and 1 fun size skein of super chunky yarn 25 yards each for the scarf (the biggest yarn – Roughly ½” thick) I used Caress Luxury Yarns Chunky Stitch Merino. This can be found here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/CaressLuxuryYarns
Hook size: Go-Girl Giant Crochet Hook. These can ONLY be found at www.Shop.GoGirlKnitting.com
To stuff the bear I used:
2 zippered pillow protectors (these will be the liner to hold the stuffing in the head and body)
1 bag of bean bag filling. I used this http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bean-Bag-Refill-1.75-cubic-feet...
(Note: After every row – join with a slip stitch and do NOT turn. If you don’t wish to add the scarf your bears head may not sit upright. Do to the weight and size of the bear; I did not stuff the arms and legs. If you chose not to use the super chunky yarn or the correct hook your bear will not look like the one in the photo. (If you start to run out of yarn, because you are a loose crocheter, you can make the legs shorter)
You do have my permission to sell whatever you make. I only ask that you mention my Etsy or Ravelry shop (luckyhanks.com) in your listings for items made from this pattern. You may NOT sell this pattern.
