This wrap is inspired by the beautifully wild Logan River. It cuts a deep and winding path through the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. The cabled border makes it’s own scalloped edge, with mitered corners to keep the cable flowing like it’s namesake.

Pattern Includes: Charted repeat
Stitches Used: knit, purl, knit through the back loop, purl through the back loop, yo, slipped stitches with yarn in front and with yarn in back, dropped stitches, 4 over 4 left cable.
Other Details: The wrap begins with a provisional cast-on in order to leave live stitches for joining the border later. The top and bottom borders are worked perpendicular to the short ends of the center rectangle and joined by working the last border stitch on wrong-side rows together with one of the live stitches from the rectangle. The corners at the beginning and end of each border are mitered to create the appearance of a continuous cabled band running around all four sides of the wrap.
