Please note - this pattern is for the dress only, the elephant is not included. This dress can be modified to fit your other amigurumi creations

This pattern is an alternative to the sewn dress for Little Owls Hut Mary the Elephant, which I came up with when my sewing machine died during the test. Rather than being a strict size that is restricted to a specific sized Mary, this guide has instructions on how to modify the dress to fit your own Mary.

Three different sized hooks are used - 2.5mm, 3mm and 3.5mm working with a 4 ply yarn. The brand of yarn does not matter if you use the guide to adjust your number of stitches to suit.

Besides your main colour, you need
any contrast colours
lace for the hem (amount will vary depending on your size but approx. 70cm for a pattern sized Mary
Domes for closing the back
Decoration for the belt
