These patterns were inspired when, after watching “Avengers” in 2012, I suffered a “star-stroke.” I had been trying to figure out how to crochet a picture, and I had started a few different projects; but this movie was the kick in the brain I needed to actually finish one. My first completed crochet portrait was Loki (you can probably tell from the plainness compared to Steve). The plainness will make these patterns a good introduction into the world of portrait making. It features chart patterns of 12 colors each, but the portraits share 8 of those colors.

I DID NOT include instructions for any actual projects. However, I do offer guidelines for material and tool requirements to adapt the patterns to different crafts. If I goofed wildly on an estimate or you need help with adaptation for a different craft, please let me know!
