The Lolita
An easy yet fun crochet hat for the novice or advanced crocheter alike. This simple yet elegant design will surely leave everyone speechless this summer!

CROCHETED MEASUREMENTS:
• Crown: 6”
• Brim: 6”

MATERIALS:
• For solid hat you will need 3 of 1.76oz/50g skein of Dandoh; 100% Linen. (124yds)

NOTE: I have only made these crocheted hats using this yarn. It is a little on the coarse side so it holds well. I cannot guarantee the results with a substituted yarn. Perhaps a cotton yarn would work well, but I would refrain from using silk, esp.

• US 3 / 3.25mm Hook
• Aleene’s fabric stiffener
• 6” x 1” Crown Shaper of your choice. I used 2 x
1/2” pieces of circle wood stacked on top of each other. I found these on Etsy.
• 3 yds of 7/8 or 1” Gros Grain Ribbon
• 2 yds of 5/8” Gros Grain Ribbon
• Sewing Pin needles
• Foam Mat (Children floor mats work well)

GAUGE:
