This is an elegant yet long V or wedge/gull wing shaped shawl/scarf, which can be worn as a scarf, shawl, or shoulder warmer. It has been designed to sit on the shoulders and not slip off or bunch up behind the neck . It is c 6’ long so there is lots flexibility in how you may wear it.

You can make the smaller version as a scarf or the bigger size as a shawl

Made in a variation of stripe options - so it will co-ordinate with your wardrobe, and the amazing thing about this pattern is that it includes 9 choices of ‘explosion’ endings (lollipop, square, liquorice stick, flower, butterfly, shamrock, leaf, spiral and heart), so you can make yours individual to suit you.
The pattern options offer 4-7 colours and striping variations - random or regular repeating stripes - so you can really style this shawl/scarf as you wish!

It has been designed for DK yarn - wool, cotton and bamboo

The neck edge is finished with a band which helps ensures the shawl keep its shape

The self fringe/motifs dangling along the edge add movement and sense of fun - plus a means of weaving in all the ends to a purpose padding out the motifs so they hang well.

It is a practical, elegant yet fun accessory that is sure to add spice and fun to your wardrobe of accessories!

The pattern comes free with yarn purchase exclusively at A Woolly Tail
