One size fits all 3 point poncho inspired by Lolly, a hedgehog we rescued with an injured leg. Very easy knit in the round, with increases and optional fringe.
Lolly had such a sweet, gentle personality, despite suffering some of the worst neglect/abuse that we have seen. She and her mate Crook were housed in a small homemade cage with no hide and no wheel. She had injured her leg, trying to climb the cage. What could have been treated with a simple round of antibiotics, was left untreated for months. It turned into a horrible bone infection that resulted in the loss of her front leg and required months of medication. While Crook was adopted to a loving home, Lolly recovered, was able to get around well and regularly enjoyed our cuddles.
