The finished hat is very stretchy and will fit a wide range of sizes. The M/L will comfortably fit any adult
head 19 inches and larger. The XS/S can be worn by a child as young as 8 years old, head size of about 16
inches. This pattern can easily be knit longer if you plan to tuck a lot of hair up in it, or just want to have
some fun!

Ideas and inspiration are everywhere. This hat
was modeled after one being worn by a fellow
passenger on the London Eye. I’m not sure if I
spent more time looking at the view or the hat!

The section of pattern that falls between Pattern Row 28 and Pattern Row 29 switches between stockinette and reverse stockinette. To clarify, work these 13 rows as follows:

K, P, K (3 rows reverse st st)
k, p, k, p, k (5 rows st st)
K, P, K (3 rows reverse st st)
k, p (2 rows st st)
