The London Fog. A beautiful combination of milk, vanilla, and Earl Grey tea to create something much more than the sum of its parts. The London Fog socks celebrate this glorious vanilla twist on Earl Grey tea with cable swirls of milk and foam with the occasional peak of purple bergamot.

This pattern has two twists down the outside of the foot, so the pattern for the right sock and the left sock are different. Make sure to work one of each for a pair of socks.

Sizes
There are three sizes in the pattern: 1 (18cm foot circumference), 2 (20cm foot circumference), 3 (22.5cm foot circumference), and 4 (25cm foot circumference). Note that the sizes listed are measured around the sock, so find your size by measuring your foot and then subtracting 10%.

There are two cables in the cable strip on the sock, and shouldn’t have a huge effect on gauge. However, if you are a tight cable-r, it may be worth it to check your gauge with the cable as well as in stockinette. The cable instructions are charted as well as written.

Yarn and Yardage
This pattern doesn’t use much yarn, and only needs approximately 160 - 220 yards, so it’s perfect for using up any stashed fingering weight sock yarn.

Notions
DPN’s or circulars (pattern can interpreted for both), cable needle, darning needle, stitch markers, and sock blockers.

Techniques
This pattern has simple cables, so only a basic knowledge of cabling is needed. This pattern also needs a basic knowledge of cuff down sock construction with a heel flap and gusset. The cable instructions are charted as well as written.
