Are you looking for the perfect mitten with texture and warmth. You have found it.

This design looks complex but it is actually a very simple design. You will only be working with SC ST for the band and a FPDC ST and DC ST for the body.

This pattern is written for a nicely fitted teen adult mitten. It will also stretch out with use. If you find the mittens too tight then go up a hook size.

These mittens are worked from the bottom up. Once you create the band you won’t cut the yarn, you will seam and then work in the round.

The total yardage is roughly 275 to 315 yards. You will require a 4.5 mm hook for the band and a 5.0 mm hook for the body.

When checking the gauge of the mitten the Body of Mitten should be 10 DC, FPDC R long, and 16 DC, FPDC STS = 4 inches
The SC Band will be 18 SC wide, 8 SC long = 4 inches
