Simple cozy mitts with a cuff are something I can always use. And once warm weather rolls around, I love working on accessories accessory since they’re portable, easy to work on, and light on my lap!

I had been dying to play with some of The Uncommon Thread’s beautiful yarns, and this Lush Worsted was the perfect introduction to Ce’s handiwork - a gorgeous color, soft as can be - and with some great memory. The fabulous stitch definition loves some stockinette, and these cables were fun but simple to add.

The cable detail lines the outer edge of each hand, and hidden in each cable is a lace diagonal that opens up when worn. If you put a pair of bright liner gloves under these, you’d see the color show through.

Knit them now and when the air turns cool, you’ll be all set!
