Londondale Cowl
A simple and elegant cowl with twisted stitches, zigzag lace columns, and an unusual ladder stitch. In fingering weight, the cowl is drapey and light; in worsted or chunky, it’s warm but not stifling. With only 2 pattern rounds, it’s easy to knit but not boring - and very addictive!
Choose an appropriate needle size for a fabric you like with the yarn you’ve chosen. Feel free to play around with the yarn weight, needle size, and the number of pattern repeats to suit your taste. Yardages and cast-on numbers reflect sample measurements, but the cowl can be worked over any multiple of 7 sts.
