Created in the idea of an original construction (unusual), it joins the collection of fantastic shawls on the initiative of Christelle Tricot & Stitch. This shawl is inspired by the warm colors of Asia; and whose scales of the border recall those of the long tail of the Chinese dragon. Long is a play on word between the translation of the Chinese name of the dragon and the pictorial representation that it has of it.

WOOL : CC1 (Color 1): Madelaine et filibert, bigsock 100 % merino, 476 yards; 435 meters/100 gr, 1 skein colorway Rome. CC2 (Color 2): Madelaine et filibert, bigsock 100 % merino, 476 yards; 435 meters/100 gr, 1 skein colorway Reykjavik. CC3 (Color 3): The Plucky Knitter Bello, 370 yards; 330 meters/100 gr, 10 gr.

MATERIALS : US#3; 3.25 mm and US#6; 4 mm circular needles (59 inches; 150 cm long). The gauge isn’t crucial to this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.

Crée dans l’idée d’une construction originale (inhabituelle), il rejoint la collection des châles fantastiques à l’initiative de Christelle Tricot & Stitch. Ce châle est inspiré des couleurs chaudes de l’Asie ; et dont les écailles de la bordure rappellent celles de la longue queue du dragon chinois. Long est donc un jeu de mot entre la traduction du nom chinois du dragon et la représentation imagée qu’il en a.
Pour ce châle, 2 écheveaux différents de 400m de fingering sont nécessaires, ainsi qu’un petit reste de 10gr environ. Toutefois, vous pourrez jouer avec les couleurs à votre guise.
