I love incorporating cables into socks! And this is a pattern that I have wanted to do for a long while. A long cable with rib sock to give the close fit around the ankle and foot. This pattern does just that. The cable is not a difficult cable but the results look like a complex cable.

The example shown was knitted using Cascade Heritage Sock yarn, but you can use any sock yarn or fingering weight yarn that gives you the right gauge. It was knitted using (5) #1 (2.50mm) double pointed needles and the directions are for a medium size with a 9” circumference for the ankle and foot.

You will receive a 3 page digital file (pdf) and you can start knitting. (There are no graphs for this pattern).

Happy knitting and enjoy…and always when using my patterns please do contact me for any questions. Love to hear and see results of my patterns.

Would also appreciate if you are selling a finished sock using my pattern that you give me a credit line. All of my patterns are copy write and appreciate that you use them appropriately.
