Designed for someone very special who has been going through a lot, physically and mentally over the past 7 plus months, the Long Distance Hug Wrap is an oversized rectangular wrap that is meant to feel like a big warm hug when worn. With beautiful lace, garter stitch sections and an I-cord edging, it is sure to be an heirloom.

MATERIALS:

YARN: 350 g / 1150 yards fingering weight yarn. Actual yarn used was from Allison Barnes Yarn 80% Superwash Merino wool, 20% nylon in the colour Fistful of Pennies

NEEDLES: SIZE 3.5 mm straight or circular needles

Gauge, although not overly important, is 26sts x 32rows in stockinette stitch. Finished size after blocking is 24” x 68”
