I designed this helmet thinking about Afghan women and girls, to wear under a headscarf in winter, or even to sleep. The opening in the back allows the hair to hang out free for comfortable wear.
It is a good item to knit for charity.
It can also be worn by men with long hair.
Variations in the main body are possible.
