This is a PDF pattern for Hoodie designed especially for Ruby Red Fashion Friends doll. This hoodie is worked from the top down in one piece with a front buttons closure. In instruction you find two variants of fasten to the left or to the right. So you can choose the variant you like and knit the hoodie for both the girl and the boy.

The pattern PDF includes a row by row instructions (all pattern rows are numbered) with photos of knitting process.

This hoodie was designed for dolls with the following measurements:

Сhest/Bust Girth = 6 – 7 inch (16 – 18 сm)

Hip/Seat Girth = 8 inch (20 сm)

Arm Length/from neck = 4 inch/5.5 inch (11 cm/14 cm)

Arm Girth = 3 inch (7 cm)

Finished hoodie measurements:

Сhest/Bust Girth – 8.6 inch (22 cm)

Sleeves Length from neck – 5.1 inch (13 cm)

Sleeves Width – 3 inch (8 cm)

Hoodie Length – 5.9 inch (15 cm)

SKILL LEVEL: advanced.

KNITTING SKILLS REQUIRED: Provisional cast-on, short rows with a yarn over, hollow rib, i-cord, bind off in rib, knit, purl, increase, decrease, back-and-forth knitting, round knitting.

MATERIALS:

– Needles: 0 US/2 mm, 1 US/2.25 mm and 1.5 US/2. 5 mm needles either double point or circular. If you are using magic loop, you will need at least a 20 inch/50 cm cable.

– Yarn: Use any fingering weight yarn and needles that will give you a gauge 38 stitches and 48 rows = 4 inch (10 cm) in stockinette stitch by size US 1 (2.25 mm) needles.

– Small buttons snaps for fasten.
