The Stars and Stripes. I was always taught respect for the Flag, not just because it is our Nations Flag, but because of all the blood, sweat, tears and sacrifice that the flag symbolizes. And so I give to you this pattern for a large scarf or small wrap to wear with pride.

I made this in Shibui birch because that was what I had on hand. It could easily be made larger by using Baah LaJolla and a size 4 needle, just make an extra repeat of the middle stars and stripes section each. If you decide to use a DK weight or larger, just make sure to go up in needle size appropriately.
