My long shrug is ultra-flattering for all shapes and sizes, with the length drawing the eye down to a longer and leaner profile. It is the perfect go-to garment for covering up on cool summer evenings as well as for layering in winter.

The boho chic style features angel sleeves, adding to the overall flowing look of the design. I used a variegated yarn for the long shrug on the cover of this book, but you can achieve a great sophisticated look with a single color yarn too.

The finished long shrug measures approximately 36” (91 cm) around the bust but as the fabric is very stretchy, and due to the intended design of the garment being worn open at the front, one size will fit most from petite to extra large.

The sleeve measures approximately 19” (48 cm) from under the arm to the end of the sleeve.

The length of the finished shrug is approximately 45” (114 cm).

My patterns are written in plain English using standard US terms, which makes them easy to follow whether you are a newbie crocheter or you have many years of experience, but you can always message me if you have any queries about my patterns.
