These beautiful fingerless gloves are fairly easily knitted and feature a chain cable design running along the back side of both hands with a plain palm side.

This pattern is for a sophisticated long wristed length but you can easily make it shorter to obtain a medium wrist length if you prefer.

Size:
One size fits most women with wrist circumference of between 15cm (6in) and 17cm (8in).
Total length for long wristed glove: 26cm (10in).
Total length for medium wristed glove: 23cm (9in).

Materials:
2 skeins of James C. Brett Pure Merino (50g - 124m -136yds per skein) or equivalent weight yarn in your favourite brand/colour– The colour I used for the mittens shown here is Lilac (Shade PM6);
one 4mm (US size 6) circular needle of 60cm (24in) length or longer or a set of 4mm (US size 6) double-pointed needles;
1 cable needle,
2 stitch markers,
1 stitch holder or a 20cm (8in) length of smooth yarn in a contrasting colour;
1 tapestry needle.
