Longboard is the knit version of the tote and the raffia pouch. They are knitted entirely in linen stitch which has a woven canvas look. This pattern is very easy and picks up very quickly.

SIZES: shopping bag version approximately 16.5 x 14 inches / 42 x 36 cm with two lengths handles 15.75 - 23.5 inches / 40 - 60 cm.
Pouch version approximately 10 x 12 inches / 25 x 30 cm

GAUGE: 21 sts x 38 rows for 4 x 4’’ or 10 x 10 cm in linen st with needles sizes 5.5 mm/US 9.

YARN: Lin la droguerie (100% linen - 100 m / 50 g) or any other DK weight yarn.
Shopping bag is knitted with two strands of DK weight yarn. Approximately 710 yards/650 m (325g) for C1 and 385 yards/350 m (175g) for C2.
Pouch is knitted with two strands of DK weight yarn. Approximately (175 - 220) yards/(160 - 200) m (80 - 100 g) for C1 and (175 - 220) yards/(160 - 200) m (80 - 100 g) for C2.

NOTIONS: circular needles sizes 5.5 mm/US 9, sewing thread, wool needle, zipper or clic clac metal clasp to 12 inches / 30 cm and fabric for the lining.

NOTES: shopping bag is knitted in Terre cuite and bouquet de lilas color.
Pouch is knitted in yellow submarine and barrière de corail color.

The shopping bag and the pouch are knit back and forth from one side to the other.

It is possible to add a fabric lining made by machine and then sewn by hand.

Longboard est la version tricot du cabas et la pochette en raphia. Ils sont tricotés tout en point de toile qui a un aspect de toile tissée. Ce point est très facile et se retient très vite.

TAILLES : le cabas environ 42 x 36 cm avec deux longueurs des anses (40 - 60 cm).
La pochette environ 25 x 30 cm.

ECHANTILLON : 21 m x 38 rgs pour 10 x 10 cm en point de toile avec les aiguilles 5,5.

FIL : Lin de la droguerie (100% lin - 100 m / 50 g).
Le cabas est tricoté avec deux fils de type DK. Environ 650 m (325 g) pour C1 et 350 m (175 g) pour C2.
La pochette est tricotée avec deux fils de type DK. Environ (160 - 200) m (80 - 100 g) pour C1 et (160 - 200) m (80 - 100 g) pour C2.

MATERIEL : aiguilles circulaires n° 5,5, aiguilles à torsade (anses tricotées), fil de couture, aiguille à laine, fermeture éclair ou un fermoir à cliquet de 30 cm et du tissu pour la doublure en option.

NOTES et CONSEILS : le cabas est tricoté dans les couleurs Terre cuite et bouquet de lilas. La pochette est tricotée dans les couleurs yellow submarine et barrière de corail.

Le cabas et la pochette se tricotent en aller-retour d’un coté à l’autre.

Il est possible d’ajouter par une doublure en tissu réalisée à la machine puis cousue à la main.
