The Longsuffering Socks are my 4th pattern in my 12-pattern Fruit of the Spirit Collection. This is a self-striping sock that incorporates knit, yarn overs, decreases, an after-thought heel, and kitchner stitch.

Yarn requirements are a skein of self-striping yarn, approx. 460 yards. Pattern recommends Berry Colorful Yarns. Optional 10 grams for a coordinating heel.

Gauge is 8 stitches to the inch in stockinette stitch on a US 2. There are two sizes, Small – Women’s US 6 with 8-inch ankle circumference; Large – Women’s US 9 with 10 inch ankle circumference.
