Cables are a fantastic way to add interest and detail to your projects, but sometimes it’s hard to keep track of your cable needle! This hat is a great way to practice cabling without using a cable needle. There are step-by-step photo instructions at the end of the pattern.

This pattern comes in three adult sizes, to fit heads approximately 21” (small), 22” (medium), and 23” (large). The ribbing is stretchy, and the hat sizes are forgiving, so you can be flexible when choosing your size.

The hat is knit from the brim up, using 16” circular needles and DPNs.

A pompom is optional, but always a fun touch.
