This hat is beyond simple! Knit in the round, there are no decreases for the crown. You simply bind off the stitches using a 3-needle bind off and fold points to the center to create an envelope-like fold on the top of the hat. Top it off with a button of your choice! The pattern has two sizes, both of which are done with a worsted weight yarn. The size difference is created by the cast on number. You could easily modify this hat to make a variety of different sizes!
