Looking at Her
“She’s not pretty, that word is too small. She is not like the girls I used to stare at, all bend and curve and softness. She is small but strong, and her bright eyes demand attention. Looking at her is like waking up.
~Veronica Roth, Divergent Series
My Looking at her Shawl was inspired by this passage from Veronica Roth’s book, Free Four, from the Divergent series. Once knit up the shawl represents the softness and strength in both Tris and Four and the love between them. It combines simple stockinette sections, textured sections featuring a twisted purl stitch and ribbing to create a soft enchanted looking shawl with a bit of an edginess and strength to it.
The Looking at Her shawl is a top down triangular shawl featuring stockinette sections, twisted purl textured sections and a ribbed border. Find your favorite soft and sweet variegated and pair it with a bold semi solid to create the perfect enchanting and edgy outfit accessory.
