Looking Glass Cowl
This pattern and color combination were inspired by many things, but about halfway through it, I was overwhelmed with how much it reminded me of my favorite story, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
The black and white stripes represent the chess board that Alice must cross to get promoted and the green represents that all those squares are actually fields.
This is a fairly quick knit and, once you memorize the pattern, is a wonderful travel project as it’s not too complicated and not too boring. Gauge is not important for this pattern.
I have received some comments/concerns about rolling edges. I wet blocked mine and haven’t had any problems with it.
Finished size (after blocking):
27” around (13.5” flat) and 10.5” tall.
I hope you enjoy!
