This easy-to-knit bag will take you from the market to the beach. Use it for those trips to the local farmer’s market to buy home grown produce, or pack it full of all the necessities you’ll need for a day at the beach. Either way, you’re sure to find it handy. Also included are instructions for adapting the pattern to different size looms.

Materials

Knitting Loom: Single sided small gauge (pegs 3/8” apart) loom with 106 pegs. The AKB All-n-One Loom, set with 5 peg sliders and using the entire loom, was used in the sample.

Yarn: 245 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn. Peaches & Creme (Oasis) was used in sample.

Notions: Tapestry Needle, Knitting tool, Scrap piece of yarn (optional-see Pattern Notes)

Gauge: Not important

Stitches: E-wrap, Flat Stitch, Purl

NOTE
To keep the handle from stretching too much, you may want to line it with fabric or ribbon to stabilize it.
